Rooted in Rhythm: Seasonal Living with Kelly
A 3-Part Workshop Series at Worts & Wards
Rooted in Rhythm is a three-part, in-person workshop series designed to help you understand and work with the natural growing rhythms of Northeast Ohio.
This series blends practical gardening with a deeper awareness of seasonal living — giving you the tools to grow food, support your garden ecosystem, and build a more connected relationship with the plants around you.
Each workshop can be attended individually, but together they create a progression:
Understanding the season → Supporting the ecosystem → Working hands-on with plants
Whether you’re growing in a backyard, a patio, or just getting started, this series is designed to meet you where you are.
All sign-ups will be completed through the Worts & Wards website, so don’t be surprised when the link takes you there.
*Registration for this workshop is not yet live. Please check back in the coming weeks, and keep an eye on my weekly emails and social media for updates.
Workshop 2
Pollinators as Protectors: Designing Gardens That Support Biodiversity
Friday, May 8, 2026
6:30–8:00 PM
$30
A productive garden isn’t just about what you plant — it’s about the ecosystem that supports it.
In this workshop, we’ll explore the role of pollinators and beneficial insects, and how they contribute to a healthier, more resilient garden.
You’ll learn:
• The key pollinators native to Northeast Ohio
• Which plants attract and support beneficial insects
• How companion planting helps naturally protect your garden
• Ways to incorporate pollinator-friendly plants into small or container spaces
• How to think about gardening as part of a larger ecosystem
This session builds on the foundation of food growing by expanding your understanding of how to support the environment your garden depends on.
Participants will receive access to a digital guide and presentation via QR code.
