About the Seasonal Plant Reserve
The Seasonal Plant Reserve is how we garden with intention — not impulse.
Instead of guessing what’s ready, grabbing what’s left at a garden center, or planting at the wrong time, this system allows you to reserve locally grown, seasonally timed plants curated specifically for our Northeast Ohio climate.
Each season — Spring Cool, Summer Warm, and Fall Cool — opens within a structured reservation window so you can plan ahead with clarity.
This isn’t about buying plants.
It’s about planting in rhythm.
More Than a Plant Pickup
The Seasonal Plant Reserve gives you three ways to grow — depending on the level of support you want this season.
You can plant independently.
You can plant strategically with hands-on guidance.
Or you can grow with full-season structure.
1.Reserve & Plant on Your Own
If you already feel confident in spacing, timing, and layout, you can reserve plants individually and plant at your own pace.
Your $25 non-refundable deposit secures your request and is applied to your final invoice.
This option is ideal if you simply want high-quality, locally grown plants timed correctly for our region — without the guesswork of sourcing them yourself.
2. Custom Planting Days: Intensive Planting. Maximum Yield. Real Learning.
If you want to understand how to grow more food in less space — this is where everything changes.
Custom Planting Days are built around my intensive planting method, designed to maximize productivity without requiring a massive garden.
This service is:
• A premium convenience
• A productivity multiplier
• A hands-on learning experience
• A seasonal reset
Pricing is $10–$12 per square foot of growing space, and that includes:
• All plants
• All direct-sow seeds
• Succession sowing strategy
• Layout planning
• Proper spacing and airflow
• Side-by-side planting instruction
You do not need to calculate plant quantities. You simply select the varieties you want to grow. I determine how many plants your space needs and map out the layout before we meet — often mentally, often on paper — so planting day is efficient and intentional.
We plant for yield. We plant for season-long productivity. We plant with structure.
Custom Planting Days are typically booked once per season — spring, summer, and fall — allowing us to adjust and optimize as conditions shift.
While not capped at a strict number, planting windows are short. Booking early ensures the best date availability.
This service stands beautifully on its own — and also integrates seamlessly with GGC.
3. Grounded Growth Collective (GGC) Seasonal Strategy & Ongoing Support
If the Plant Reserve is access, and Custom Planting Days are implementation — GGC is the roadmap.
Grounded Growth Collective is a 9-month, seasonally paced garden experience (March–November) designed to help you understand:
• What to plant
• When to plant it
• Why timing matters
• How to transition between seasons
Inside GGC, you learn the rhythm behind the system.
Members receive:
• Monthly seasonal guides
• Layered teaching videos
• The GGC Resource Hub
• Community support
• Early access to the Seasonal Plant Reserve
• Priority scheduling for Custom Planting Days
You can absolutely reserve plants without joining.

Why the Reservation System Exists
Every plant is grown intentionally — not overproduced, not rushed.
A $25 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your request.
This allows me to:

• Typically contain 2 plants per pot (most suppliers only offer one)

• Available in both plastic and fully compostable paper pots
• Compostable pots can be planted directly into the ground to reduce transplant shock
1.5” Compostable Pots — $5.50
• Smaller, space-efficient starts
• Fully compostable — plant directly into the soil
• Great for gardeners who want flexibility in spacing or planting layout
Soil Blocks — $4.99
• Multiple plants grown in one block
• Strong root development
• Easy to separate and transplant
• Ideal for efficient planting and minimizing root disturbance
Seed Snail Bunches — $4.99
• Small clusters of seedlings grown together
• Perfect for crops like greens, herbs, and flowers
• Can be separated or planted densely for intensive growing
Direct Sow Seeds (Custom Planting Days Only)
• Included as part of your Custom Planting Day
• Used for crops that grow best when planted directly in the soil
• No additional cost when included in your planting plan

If you’re booking a Custom Planting Day, you don’t need to worry about plant quantities or types—I will determine exactly what’s needed based on your garden size and layout.
