Welcome to the Grounded Growth Collective Members Library
You made it. And I'm genuinely glad you're here.
This is your home base — the place where everything I've built for you lives, organized by season and ready to use whenever you need it. Whether you're joining us in the middle of the growing season or starting fresh in the new year, there's something here for where you are right now.
Before you dive in, here's a quick orientation so you always know where to find what you're looking for.
What Lives Here — Your Squarespace Members Library
This is your permanent, evergreen resource archive. Think of it as the library you come back to again and again throughout the year.
Click any of the three sections below to jump straight in.
Getting Started
New to the membership or not sure where to begin? Start here. This guide walks you through how to use the library, how to find what's relevant to your growing region, and where to go first no matter what month you're joining us.
Monthly Content
Your seasonal teaching videos, PDFs, and planting guides organized month by month — February through November. Find the month you're currently in and start there, or browse back through previous seasons anytime.
GGC Resource Hub
Your collection of additional guides, planting calendars, reference materials, and bonus resources. A growing archive of everything that doesn't fit neatly into a single month but belongs in every gardener's toolkit.
A Note on Geography and Seasons
Everything in this library is rooted in my experience growing in Northeast Ohio — a northern climate with four distinct seasons. My growing year kicks off in mid to late March with the first cool season plantings, and I'm still harvesting well into the holiday season as cold-hardy plants continue producing slowly or I'm bringing in the last of what I've grown before the hard freezes settle in.
That extended growing window is exactly what I want to help you find in your own space — wherever you are.
If you're in the Midwest, Mountain regions, Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, or much of Canada and northern Europe, you'll be able to follow along closely. Timing may shift by a week or two in either direction depending on your specific location, but the principles translate directly.
If you're further south, on the West Coast, or in a climate with less seasonal variation, you'll need to adapt the timing to match your own seasonal arc. The framework is the same — the calendar just looks different where you are.
The most important thing to remember: I teach by temperature and season, not by calendar month. Before diving into the monthly content, I recommend understanding which of the four growing seasons you're currently in — cold, cool, warm, or hot. Once you know that, you'll know exactly where to start.
The Getting Started guide will walk you through how to map your own seasonal arc wherever you live.
What Lives on Substack — Your Community and Live Content
The second part of your membership experience happens over on Substack at Grounded Growth Collective. This is where the living, breathing community side of things happens.
On Substack you'll find:
Bi-weekly Q&A audio episodes — I answer the top questions coming in from the community on a real, consistent schedule. Submit your questions anytime through the community Chat.
Community Chat — ask questions, share what's growing, connect with other members who are figuring this out alongside you.
Bloom members: Your monthly live video — real time in my garden, seasonal teaching, live Q&A — plus your private Bloom Chat thread, all live on Substack.
If you haven't already, head over to Substack and make sure you're subscribed and logged in so you don't miss anything.
Where to Start
Not sure where to jump in? Here's my suggestion:
If you're brand new to kitchen gardening — start with the Getting Started guide, then find the monthly video that corresponds to the season you're in right now.
If you've been gardening for a while — head straight to the current month's content and then browse back through whatever season feels most relevant to where you are.
If you have a specific question — drop it in the Substack community Chat anytime. I answer the top questions from the community every two weeks.
There's no wrong place to start. The garden meets you wherever you are.
A Note From Kelly
I want you to know that what you have access to here took years to build — seasons of real gardens, real clients, real failures, and real harvests. It's not perfect and it's always growing, just like your garden will be.
My goal — always — is to make myself unnecessary to you. I want you to understand your space so well, in every season, that you trust your own instincts completely. This library and this community are how we get there together.
I'm so glad you're here. Now let's get growing.
— Kelly
